About The Barton Gallery

On a corner of Barton Street, in the historical centre of Bath, sits a beautiful double-fronted Georgian building which houses The Barton Gallery. Spread over three floors and decorated throughout in soothing shades of blue-green, it is a welcoming and tranquil haven.
The Barton Gallery brings together the work of local and international artists and creatives. The owner, Agnes Pollock, is a Still Life artist herself and sells her oil paintings and prints. Alongside her own work, she has curated a wonderfully eclectic and quirky mix of art, ceramics, fabrics and jewellery.
Throughout the gallery you will find art and crafts which celebrate beauty. All of our artists find inspiration in nature, in botanical forms, in colour and light. You will find scalloped plates and platters with folk art depictions of animals, delicate porcelain tealights and lanterns, hand embroidered fabrics, wonderful screen-prints with birds, handcrafted jewellery with gemstones from Jaipur, sea glass from Suffolk, or golden grass from Brazil.
There is an enormous choice and price range, which means you can also find affordable and unique gifts and greetings cards and scented candles, besides beautiful art for your home.
